Our Germany-based BayWa r.e. parent company software team recently met in Munich for a team building and strategy development week.
Throughout the week, the group attended various team building and strategy sessions and corporate presentation seminars which helped them create clear goals for years to come.
These events also allowed the team to meet in person and exercise collaborative prowess.
To wrap up the inspiring week, the group engaged in various recreational activities, including a scavenger hunt through the historic city of Munich and enjoyed a rooftop summer party.
Creating a better product
We discussed how diverse perspectives and expertise enrich team culture and help us develop a strong product capable of meeting client needs. One of the goals of this collaborative week was to understand pain points and barriers in day-to-day business and to jointly develop practical and attainable solutions to solve them.
No to distractions
The team brainstormed strategies to maintain focus and, at the same time, be open to innovative ideas. We developed various solutions and adapted our recommendations to encourage collaboration in our work routine.
Decentralized team
Over the past two years, we have all been affected by the pandemic. Home office and mobile working have become very important to us, and for good reasons. But at the same time, working in the office offers many valuable benefits.
That’s why we looked at what each team needs to find a comfortable work environment tailored to their specific requirements.
Celebrating success together
A team event isn’t complete without a good party! Our summer party took place in the center of Munich at a rooftop restaurant. We got to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere over a delicious meal featuring local ingredients.
It was a nice change to socialize with our colleagues out of the office. We enjoyed drinks and a fantastic view of Munich at sunset. It was a great model for future team events and the perfect end to the week.
