European Sales Lead

The Gist

We’re looking for a European Sales Lead with a background in renewable energy or B2B software sales to help us grow our European client base.

What We Need

We want to blow our European sales targets out of the water, and we want you to help. Based in our Munich office you’re going to:

  • Manage inbound and lead pipeline for Europe and other regions as defined
  • Manage sales calls and follow up
  • Coordinate and deliver product demos and trials
  • Coordinate and support the rest of the sales and marketing team
  • Coordinate and participate in outbound and inbound sales presentations
  • Prepare and present offers
  • Develop and assist in developing sales and marketing material
  • Identify new opportunities to engage potential clients
  • Assist in developing and executing the strategic sales plan.
  • Managing client relationships post close of sale
  • Draft responses to RFPs, RFIs and RFQs
  • Identify potential new revenue channels and verticals
  • Collaborate with BayWa r.e. personnel to expand our reach in Europe
  • Some travel required

 

What You Need

Here’s the boxes you need to check to get the job.

  • University degree or college diploma
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales role
  • Strong English verbal communication skills
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Ability to communicate in French, Spanish & German an asset (at minimum one of these is a requirement the more the better)
  • Great Critical thinking skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Well organized
  • Creative thinker
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales automation software is an asset
  • 2-3 years Experience in B2B software or renewables sales
  • experience in renewable energy a strong asset
  • Have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally

 

What We’re Offering

This is a full-time permanent role.  While most of our team is based in Toronto, Canada, we are looking for someone dynamic and driven that can work from Munich as we love that city and that’s where our parent company BayWa r.e. is based. You will need to work remotely and coordinate with our team in Canada. (Plus you’ll get to come over every so often)
